ABOUT THE ROLE
As Intermediate Accountant you will play a critical role in our finance function. You will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and managing accounts receivable and payable including reconciliations with banks customers and suppliers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
Ensure compliance with local provincial and federal tax laws and accounting regulations
Perform reconciliations on bank accounts and customer and supplier statements
Collaborate with the Accounting Team to ensure accuracy and compliance
Contribute to the implementation of accounting policies and internal controls
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field
23 years of experience in an accounting role
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and Teams
Solid understanding of accounting principles and excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with Sage 50 accounting software
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
