Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Specialist with 35 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing a deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and a passion for delivering high-quality products. You will work closely with development product and operations teams to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute detailed test plans test cases and test scripts.
- Perform functional regression integration and system testing for web mobile windows and API applications.
- Identify record and track bugs thoroughly ensuring clear and actionable bug reports.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to define quality standards and ensure alignment.
- Participate in requirements analysis offering a QA perspective early in the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium Cypress or similar.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman SoapUI or Swagger.
- Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives.
- Analyze test results debug issues and provide detailed reports to management.
- Support deployment validation activities including smoke and sanity tests in production environments.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools methodologies and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 35 years of professional experience in a Quality Assurance or Software Testing role.
- Solid understanding of manual testing techniques and automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. Jira TFS etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one automation tool (e.g. Selenium Cypress).
- Hands-on experience in API testing and familiarity with RESTful services.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in performance testing.
- Knowledge of security testing basics.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS Azure) is a plus.
