YOUR NEW ROLE

This role is responsible for:

The Creative Learning Lead is responsible for the effective development delivery and continuous improvement of Creative Learning programs at the Sydney Opera House ensuring high-quality outcomes from both a program and business management perspective.

The role implements and maintains Creative Learning pedagogy across the Children Families and Creative Learning portfolio ensuring programs are underpinned by strong educational practice aligned with relevant curriculum frameworks and informed by contemporary approaches to arts education.

The position leads program evaluation and reporting using data and insights to inform program development and demonstrate impact while supporting engagement with education and funding stakeholders to strengthen program reach and sustainability.

Working collaboratively with program producers artists and educators the role supports the co-design of creative learning content for specialist projects and schools programs. The role also supervises the Schools Engagement Officer and oversees the coordination and delivery of the onsite schools workshop program supported by the Program Assistant

Sydney Opera House is seeking a dynamic Creative Learning Lead to connect students and the education sector with our Creative Learning program.

Were looking for a solutions-orientated agile thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently multi-taskequally adept at co-designing bold creative learning experiences driving schools and university engagement aligning programs to curriculum managing budgets and contracts and turning data into clear actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities/skills:

  • Lead and evolve engaging Creative Learning programs aligned with curriculum standards and organisational goals
  • Develop coordinate and deliver highquality Creative Learning content including SOH BUILD and school workshops
  • Monitor program impact through evaluation data analysis and clear reporting to drive continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with schools educators and sector partners to grow participation and engagement
  • Design and deliver teacher professional learning and educator events to maximise educational impact
  • Lead and support the Schools Engagement Officer providing clear guidance workload management and performance feedback
  • Manage daytoday program operations including scheduling resourcing budgets and financial reporting
  • Collaborate on marketing and audience development and lead key initiatives and funding programs including Creative Learning launch events and Arts Assist
