Sr. Procurement Engineer

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
• Source evaluate and prequalify suppliers vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue RFQs RFPs and tender documents.
• Review drawings specifications BOQs and material submittals for procurement accuracy.
• Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations and provide recommendations.
• Clarify inclusions and exclusions in bid proposals based on project requirements scope of works subcontractor responsibilities drawings and specifications.
• Lead price negotiations to achieve best value without compromising quality.
• Ensure procured items meet technical specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering QS Planning and Construction teams on procurement needs.
• Assist in the preparation of contracts purchase orders service orders rental orders and subcontract agreements.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with project schedules.
• Work closely with Construction/Operations and Quality teams to align procurement with overall project execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor supplier performance quality and compliance.
• Resolve procurementrelated issues claims and disputes.
• Ensure suppliers comply with HSE quality and contractual requirements.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies project contracts and ethical standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
• Support audits and internal reviews as required.
• Maintain and update project requisition monitoring for traceability and documentation.

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• 15yearsofprocurementexperienceintheconstructionorengineeringindustry
• Provenexperiencehandlinglarge-scaleconstructionorinfrastructureprojects
• Strongknowledgeofconstructionmaterialsequipment andsubcontractpackages
• Proficientinprocurementsystems ERP ( SAP Oracle) and MS Office
• StrongunderstandingofBOQsspecifications andtechnicaldrawings
