Axway Systems Engineer

Role: Systems Engineer

As a member of the Global Application Experience Global IT team the candidate will provide technical leadership for on-premise and cloud applications. This includes:

• Support user communities in Asian or EU zone for application systems.
• Perform system lead tasks including application administration and system lifecycle documentations.
• Provide technical leadership in application roadmap by close coordination with system owners. Participate in build upgrade and/or migration projects.
• Keep systems up-to-date by leading and executing technical upgrades applying patches bug-fixes including security vulnerabilities.
• Perform security management tasks such as user account reviews technical account reviews and vulnerability assessments.
• Follow SOP and conduct activities in a highly regulated and compliant environment.
• Analyze business needs prioritize tasks develop solutions and conduct data processes to improve the operations of IT systems.

Experience:

• 2-5 years as application and/or system support (System Engineer)
• 6 years as application owner and/or system administrator (Senior System Engineer)

Required Axway Experience and Skillset:

• At least 2 years experience in at least 2 Axway technologies below
  1. API Management
  2. API Gateway
  3. Policy Studio (Developer)
  4. Amplify
  5. Microservices on AWS/Openshift

Required System Engineer Skillsets: (at least 2 of below)

• System Administration (Windows Unix Linux)
• Cloud administration (Azure AWS)
• Database administration
• Information protection and security
• Networking

Desirable Experience and Skillsets

• Candidates must be willing to be upskilled on gaps in required skillset
• ITIL V3 or V4
• Salesforce
• Veeva
• Web Services and Integration (e.g. Axway APIs)
• Virtualization
• Containerization (Openshift)
• Jira & Confluence
