Front-End Software Engineer Salesforce

As part of Manulife Philippines Technology team we are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer (Salesforce) who will be responsible for supporting developing and enhancing our Salesforce applications.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design develop test and deploy Salesforce customizations including custom objects workflows validation rules and Apex triggers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Support the integration of Salesforce with other internal and external systems.
• Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing Salesforce applications and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues providing timely and effective support to end-users.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation and user guides.
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new features evaluating their potential impact and opportunities for our organization.

Required Qualifications:

• More than 5 years of experience in Salesforce applications development
• Familiarity with Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce DX Visual Studio Code and the Salesforce CLI.
• Knowledge of Apex Visualforce and Lightning Web Components is a plus.
• Experience with data modeling SQL and integration tools (e.g. REST SOAP) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first six months.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
