Job Summary
We are looking for a QE Automation Engineer with strong Java experience to support automation testing initiatives. This role suits someone with hands-on experience in building frameworks and working in Agile teams.
What youll do
- develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Java and Selenium
- perform API automation testing and validate results using SQL
- collaborate with development teams in Agile environments
- support build and release processes using continuous integration and delivery tools
- contribute to testing strategies and improve automation coverage
What you bring
- 5 9 years of experience in QA automation or Java development
- strong experience with Java and Selenium
- solid understanding of SQL for data validation
- experience with REST API automation
- familiarity with Agile methodology and CI/CD processes
Nice to have
- knowledge of behavior-driven development
- experience working in Unix environments
- exposure to new or emerging testing tools
Work setup
- hybrid role with 3 4 days per week onsite in Calgary AB
- contract duration of 6 months
- background check required
