About the Position Position: PACU RN Shift: 4x10s Days: Alternating weekdays alternating starting shift times starting between 0630-0830 a.m. Weekend call REQ: Yes weekend call once every 4 weekends. 24-hour call Saturday and Sunday Ratios: 1:1 1:2 Is on-call REQ (Y/N): Yes must take call 1 night a week 7p-7a Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities (Y/N): No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year minimum PACU 2 years Med Surg First-time travelers accepted: No License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license Certs REQ (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)): ACLS BLS PALS Radiation Badge Required (Y/N): No Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on units needs Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 286 Scrub Color: Provided Charting: Epic Parking Cost: No Cost Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
