Job Title: SQL SSAS Developer

Duration (Contract): 12 Months

Job Description:
As a SQL SSAS Developer you will design develop and support enterprise business intelligence solutions with a focus on data models multidimensional cubes and reporting to enable advanced analytics and decision making. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams across the full software development lifecycle to deliver high quality scalable BI solutions and ensure reliable production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop test and implement SQL based BI solutions including data models cubes and reports.
• Build and maintain multidimensional SSAS cubes supporting complex analytical use cases.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to ensure performance and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with business users to understand processes and translate needs into BI requirements.
• Lead validation testing and quality assurance activities for BI deliverables.
• Schedule coordinate and support production deployments and data refresh automation.
• Track assigned work and communicate progress and risks to project stakeholders.
• Coach users on best practices for querying reporting and cube usage.
• Identify and recommend improvements to BI development procedures and standards.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Bachelor s degree in a related field required.
• 5 years of experience developing BI solutions using Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
• Strong hands on experience with SQL Server Analysis Services and multidimensional cubes.
• Proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services and complex SQL development.
• Experience automating data refresh and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with Integration Services is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams across the SDLC.
• Strong documentation analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise analytics or research data solutions preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
