As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Accessin Greenville SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This role combines armed readiness strong communication and customer service while supporting access activity. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings restricted areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
• Monitor entry points verify credentials and/or access permissions and support controlled access procedures for employees contractors and approved visitors.
• Support security-related operations in an aero and defense location by maintaining situational awareness following post orders and communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Have 3 years of experience in security-related work law enforcement military police and/or military service.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
