Whats the role
Youll play a handson role in shaping how Westpac tells its sustainability story. Sitting within Investor Relations in Group Finance youll support the preparation of external sustainability disclosures and help strengthen the data governance and controls behind them.
Youll work closely with teams across the bank to coordinate inputs analyse data and make sure disclosures are accurate consistent and ready for public release. This role gives you exposure to senior leaders regulators and external stakeholders while contributing to highprofile reporting such as the Sustainability Report and climate disclosures under Australias new mandatory requirements.
This is a permanent fulltime role based in Sydney with flexible working arrangements and some additional hours during peak reporting periods.
What do I need
Youll bring a practical detailfocused approach to reporting and collaboration along with:
- Experience delivering highquality work in fastpaced crossfunctional environments
- Strong analytical skills including confidence working with data and Excel
- Ability to coordinate stakeholders manage inputs and resolve gaps
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity and interest in sustainability ESG or public reporting
