Resident Field Service Representative Wastewater
Job Summary
The Field Service Representative role at Veolia Water Tech involves providing operations and maintenance expertise on water and wastewater treatment systems across various industries. This position is critical for ensuring the optimal performance of technologies such as membrane bio reactor ultrafiltration membranes centrifuge media filtration softening reverse osmosis and more. The representative will be responsible for troubleshooting conducting maintenance and performing analytical testing to meet customer needs and contract specifications.
Key Characteristics (Highlight characteristics required to succeed in the role)
- Operate monitor and optimize equipment performance.
- Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on wastewater treatment equipment.
- Perform analytical lab testing associated with wastewater operations such as turbidity hardness chlorine pH CO2 O2 SDI TOC and other site-specific testing requirements.
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
- Create and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
- Carry out mechanical electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves air compressors ejectors process pumps blowers and instrumentation.
- Consult with customer management and operation teams.
- Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications.
- Other duties as required.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet all customer site requirements.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2 years experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment.
Valid Drivers License
Preferred (if applicable):
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation.
Working Conditions (Specify % of travel involved if applicable physical conditions interaction with any hazardous material work environment etc.)
- Ability to travel within the region as needed

- Experience in wastewater treatment equipment maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
