Job Summary

Performs advanced BIM design and modeling tasks for Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems on large-scale projects primarily within the Middle East region. This role operates with limited supervision demonstrating a high level of technical expertise and independent judgment in the development of coordinated BIM models and construction documentation.

Provides technical leadership supports project delivery and contributes to BIM capability development within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages detailed 3D BIM models for Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems using Autodesk Revit in accordance with project requirements.

  • Produces fully coordinated construction drawings layouts and schematics aligned with project standards and specifications.

  • Provides direct project delivery support ensuring outputs meet quality timeline and client expectations.

  • Ensures compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) Level of Development (LOD) and project-specific standards.

  • Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes and integration issues using BIM tools.

  • Conducts model reviews QA/QC checks and ensures accuracy and completeness of deliverables.

  • Develops maintains and applies Revit families templates and content libraries.

  • Supports implementation of asset data requirements (e.g. COBie) within BIM models.

 

Technical Excellence & Digital Delivery:

  • Provides training and technical support to design staff on BIM tools workflows and best practices.

  • Contributes to continuous improvement of BIM standards processes and automation initiatives.

  • Assists in troubleshooting complex modeling and coordination challenges.

  • Promotes adoption of digital engineering practices across projects.


Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in BIM/Revit modeling for MEP systems with specialization in Plumbing and Fire Fighting.

  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience on large-scale Middle East projects.

  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP).

  • Strong understanding of BIM processes LOD BEP and coordination workflows.

  • Experience in clash detection and coordination tools (e.g. Navisworks).

  • Knowledge of relevant international and regional codes (NFPA IPC local authority requirements).

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ACC / BIM 360 platforms.

  • BIM certifications or equivalent digital delivery credentials.

  • Ability to mentor and support junior team members.

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
