Farm Maintenance Technician

1. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance activities on Farm electrical system process

controllers and electrical equipment ensuring the efficient running and prolonged service life of the

machines and equipment.

2. Assemble install test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring equipment appliances apparatus

and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.

3. Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and systems apparatus and components using test equipment

and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

4. Connect wires to circuit breakers transformers or other components.

5. Inspect electrical systems equipment and components to identify hazards defects and the need for

adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.

6. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring equipment and fixtures using

testing devices such as mega-ohmmeters voltmeters/clamp meter tester to ensure compatibility and

safety of the system.

7. Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors and other equipment.

8. Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions walls or other concealed areas and pull

insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.

9. Stays on-call even during off-hours and rest days to help maintain and ensure good running condition

of all electrical equipment at all times.

10. Attends to electrical repairs and other requirements of other farms ( Breeder Farm 2 and Nursery Farm 2).

11. Compliance with 5S activities & ISO 9001:200

12. Recommend and Suggest improvements KAIZEN as part of Department Quality Improvements

activities.

OTHER TASK:

1. Safety Management

-Monitors Farm electrical load and ensure that electrical usage does not exceed the maximum load

threshold.

2. Equipment Safety

-Conducts routine inspection of electrical equipment in operation checks equipment operating

parameters as prescribed and initiates corrective measures on any abnormality.

3. Troubleshooting

-Conducts problem solving activities on causes and corrective measures for electrical electronics

variances. Solicits the advice of Maintenance Leadman / Site Planner for problems that remain unsolved.

FOOD SAFETY:

1. Complies with quality Halal health and food safety policy standards and regulations of the company.

2. Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

OTHER TASKS:

1. Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement safety & security sustainability corporate social responsibility  risk management etc. 

2. Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications :

Education:

•  Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• Preferably with at least three (3) years work experience in related field

Licenses: N/A

Other Requirements:

1. Working knowledge of instrumentation technology; electrical/electronics circuit design troubleshooting and repair;

2. Knowledge and understanding of Farm technology

3. Familiarity with Panel board and other electronic device analysis and troubleshooting

Additional Information :

Candidate must be willing to work in a Stay-in 26-4 working Setup
