QUALIFICATIONS:
25 years of experience in fire protection systems within construction or industrial projects
Hands-on experience in installation testing commissioning and maintenance of fire alarm and firefighting systems
Knowledge of fire protection equipment (alarms sprinklers pumps hydrants extinguishers)
Able to read and interpret technical drawings and system layouts
Familiar with fire safety codes and standards (e.g. NFPA is an advantage)
Experience working on-site and coordinating with project teams
Physically fit; capable of working at heights and in demanding environments
Basic electrical knowledge related to fire alarm systems preferred
Relevant technical/vocational training preferred; Fire Safety NC II / Scaffolding is an advantage
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install test commission and maintain fire alarm and firefighting systems
Conduct inspections preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of fire protection equipment
Interpret technical drawings and ensure proper system installation
Coordinate with engineers contractors and site personnel for project compliance
Ensure adherence to fire safety codes standards and regulations
Maintain tools and follow strict health and safety procedures
