Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead for a 12-month contract (with possible extensions) across Melbourne Canberra and Brisbane.
In this role you will provide technical leadership within an Agile/Scrum team driving solution design aligned with architectural standards and strategic direction. You will ensure solutions are scalable secure and resilient while proactively identifying and mitigating technical risks.
You will collaborate with architects contribute to enterprise design patterns and support innovation through emerging technologies including AI. The role also involves leading PI Planning managing dependencies and ensuring non-functional requirements such as performance security and accessibility are met.
You will be responsible for maintaining high technical quality across deliverables ensuring system design integrity and integration readiness while also guiding teams on technical debt management and continuous improvement. Mentoring developers and promoting engineering best practices will be a key part of your role.
Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Technical Lead in Agile environments
- Expertise in system design architecture and scalable solutions
- Experience in government or regulated environments is preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Active Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)
