IT Supervisor

Job Title: IT Supervisor (Cebu)

Overview: STAFFVIRTUAL is seeking a hands-on IT Supervisor to oversee daily IT operations and lead a small team. This role is responsible for maintaining system performance ensuring timely technical support and managing IT assets inventory and deployments. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills supervisory experience and a proactive approach to improving IT processes.

Responsibilities:

• IT Operations & Team Supervision
  • Supervise a small team of IT staff ensuring efficient task distribution and performance.
  • Provide guidance training and escalation support to team members.
  • Serve as the point of contact for IT issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies security standards and procedures.

• Infrastructure Inventory & Deployment
  • Oversee the performance and maintenance of networks systems and cloud services.
  • Manage IT inventory including hardware software and asset tracking.
  • Oversee device provisioning system deployments and user setup.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure minimal system downtime.
  • Support data backup disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Process Improvement & Technology Support
  • Identify and implement process improvements and basic automation solutions.
  • Support the use of tools such as RPA chatbots and AI where applicable.
  • Ensure systems meet performance reliability and security requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field.

• 3 to 5 years of IT experience with 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure systems administration and troubleshooting.

• Experience managing IT inventory and overseeing deployments.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud) is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving communication and team management skills.
