About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing vendor coordination and purchasing activities within a dynamic oil & gas services environment. The role involves ensuring timely procurement of materials and services maintaining cost efficiency and supporting smooth supply chain operations aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & SourcingIdentify and source suppliers for materials equipment and quotations evaluate bids and negotiate pricing and timely procurement to meet project and operational accurate purchase orders and procurement documentation.
Vendor ManagementDevelop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendor performance and ensure quality standards are with vendors for order tracking delivery schedules and issue alternative suppliers to optimize cost and efficiency.
Purchase Order & Contract ManagementPrepare and process purchase orders in line with company contracts and agreements are properly reviewed and order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and discrepancies related to deliveries invoices or quality issues.
Inventory & Supply Chain CoordinationMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or logistics coordination for timely delivery of in minimizing wastage and improving supply chain efficiency.
Compliance & Cost ControlEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies and procurement budgets and control costs accurate records for audits and reporting opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Reporting & CoordinationPrepare procurement reports and updates for with finance operations and project proper documentation and records of procurement audits and ensure transparency in procurement processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.36 years of experience in procurement or supply chain in oil & gas engineering or project-based industries is preferred.
