Position Overview
We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented BI Engineer to lead the design development and deployment of analytics dashboards and data-input web applications. This role will own our Tableau environment and transform complex data into intuitive actionable dashboards that support strategic decision-making.

The position will also support front-end development for web-based data input and embedded analytics. A key component of this role is leveraging AI toolssuch as and other generative AI platformsto accelerate development and deliver production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain interactive scalable dashboards using Tableau.
• Use AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot ChatGPT) to accelerate development of embedded analytics and front-end features.
• Apply strong data visualization and UX practices to create clear actionable dashboards.
• Write and optimize SQL queries using MySQL and Snowflake for Tableau reporting.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) manage permissions and monitor dashboard performance in Tableau Cloud.
• Collaborate with business leaders and DevOps to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Document dashboards and provide training to business users.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of Tableau development experience.
• Advanced skills in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Cloud including LOD expressions calculated fields parameters and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL and data modeling knowledge (facts dimensions star schema).
• Experience using AI tools in a development workflow.
• Working knowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript for embedded analytics or data input interfaces.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Tableau Certified Data Analyst or Tableau Desktop Specialist.
• Experience with Tableau REST API or Tabcmd for deployment automation.
