Job Summary
This is a student volunteer experience position. Volunteer experience participants receive monthly stipend payments. The LOG Yearbook Design Editor works collaboratively with the LOG Yearbook Editor-in-Chief and other LOG Yearbook Editors to execute the 172-page LOG Yearbook. The editor oversees two staff designers and has creative insights into how to best capture the year in visual form. The Design Editor also oversees editing and proofing the entire yearbook including all spreads the cover senior tribute ads senior photos and the index.
Minimum Qualifications
Creative self-motivated organized individual Interest and/or experience in graphic design and/or student journalism Basic knowledge of graphic design software Adobe Creative Cloud particularly InDesign Strong organizational and self management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous yearbook/newspaper experience Past LOG yearbook experience Sophomore Junior or Senior standing for theschool year
