Responsibilities Well Help You Master

• Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and fulfilling their dreams by having a person-centered focus
• Teach independent living and daily skills to the persons-served by identifying and meeting social environmental and health care needs such as daily grooming and personal care routines
• Actively plans coordinates and participates with residents in social activities including frequent community outings
• Instructs supports and participates in performing household tasks with persons served such as cleaning preparing meals food shopping etc

• Will enjoy being active and a proactively partner while engaging in community activities and events
• Will be resourceful in researching community activities and enjoy introducing new activities
• Must have experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities along with patience and positive coaching skills to assist with successfully reaching goals

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution
• Able to communicate effectively with the individuals to whom services are provided
• Should have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities or with other types of special needs populations
• Have patience and positive coaching skills to assist AM with successfully reaching his goals
• Enjoy being active and proactively partner with AM while engaging in activities events and volunteer efforts of choice
• Will be resourceful in researching community activities volunteer efforts and enjoy introducing new ideas
