Job Title: Senior QHSSE Officer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QHSSE Officer to manage and oversee Quality Health Safety Security and Environmental (QHSSE) systems across operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with ISO standards regulatory requirements and promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement QHSSE Management Systems (ISO 45001)
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards
- Conduct risk assessments audits and incident investigations
- Oversee lifting operations safety procedures and site inspections
- Manage security protocols access control and emergency response plans
- Prepare HSE reports audits and documentation
- Lead training programs and safety awareness initiatives
- Coordinate with internal teams contractors and regulatory authorities
- Support tendering processes with QHSSE inputs
Requirements:
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- NEBOSH IGC (mandatory)
- Lead Auditor – ISO 45001
- Grad IOSH (preferred)
- Certifications in lifting/rigging & safety training
Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in QHSSE roles
- Experience in Facilities Management / Construction / Industrial sectors
- Strong exposure to regulatory authorities (MOI QCDD etc.)
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance
- Experience in risk management & incident investigation
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Experience in GCC (Qatar preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Arabic
- Valid driving license
