We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Consultant with strong functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementation support and enhancement of EBS Finance applications along with a solid understanding of financial and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Expertise
Work extensively on Oracle EBS Financial modules:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Cash Management (CM)
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Configure and customize EBS Finance modules based on business needs
Implementation & Support
Participate in full lifecycle implementations (Requirement Gathering Design Development Testing Go-Live Support)
Provide production support and resolve functional issues within SLA
Work on system enhancements patches and upgrades
Business Process & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with business users to understand finance and accounting processes
Conduct gap analysis and recommend optimal solutions
Prepare and maintain functional documentation (BRD FRD test cases user guides)
Testing & Integration
Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT cycles
Coordinate with technical teams for RICE components (Reports Interfaces Conversions Extensions)
Ensure seamless integration with other Oracle modules
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Finance modules (GL AP AR FA CM)
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Experience working in Oracle EBS R12 environment
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and queries
Experience in preparing functional documentation
Preferred Skills
Experience in Oracle EBS implementation projects
Exposure to Oracle Workflow and AME (Approval Management Engine)
Knowledge of Oracle Financial Reporting tools
Basic understanding of technical components (PL/SQL Interfaces)
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting / IT
CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) - Preferred
