As our next Rigging Millwright you will be responsible for safely planning coordinating and executing machinery moves within the plant. You will play a critical role in ensuring equipment is relocated aligned and installed with precision while maintaining the highest standards of safety for people equipment and facilities.

What Youll Be Doing

• Inspecting and preparing loads for safe movement
• Selecting and inspecting appropriate rigging gear for each job
• Preparing and using rigging equipment such as beams pulleys clamps bolts and slings
• Setting aligning and leveling heavy equipment and machinery
• Maneuvering loads using forklifts overhead cranes and other heavy equipment as well as by hand when required
• Monitoring the condition of rigging equipment and ensuring proper maintenance
• Ensuring all rigging activities comply with company and regulatory safety procedures
• Communicating effectively with maintenance rigging and construction teams during machinery moves
• Breaking down and inspecting rigging equipment after use
• Supporting continuous improvement of safe rigging practices
• Performing other related duties as assigned

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a rigger or rigging millwright
• Hoisting & Rigging Certificate from a recognized provider
• Forklift and overhead crane certification
• Strong knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery
• Familiarity with applicable safety standards and regulations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and industrial plant environment
• Regular exposure to heavy equipment and moving machinery
• Physically demanding work including lifting positioning and maneuvering loads
• Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements
