As a Security Officer Secure Entry Driver in Columbia SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entrances verify identification and authorization and help to control entry and exit for staff visitors contractors and/or authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents policy concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related matters as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas entry points and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or access concerns.
• Communicate with site personnel visitors and public agency representatives regarding post instructions visitor processing and other security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA DPSS/DHS requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
