TheRooftopPrep Barback ensuresthat the bar is set andmaintainedso that the barteam membershaveeverythingtheyneed to run an effective operation as well asmaintainingthe cleanliness of the outlet running food set-up and breakdown of the barback must be knowledgeable about menu items attentive and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
Alwaystreatsguests with courtesy and respect in a variety of situations.
Displays honesty& integrity.
You build strong partnerships withother bar team members.

Courteous friendly personality and professional appearance.
Prepare mixers cut fruit receive requisitions check par levels refill mixers get ice run food and collect and dispose of garbagein all bar areas.
Set-up andbreakdownthe barat Rooftop standards.
Assistingwith opening and closing duties such restocking the bar with garnishes straws and napkins ensuring that Bartenders have clean towelscups etc.
Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice liquor wine and beer.
Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfacessweepingand mopping scrubbing coolers and storage areas and emptying trashto the dumpster.
Maintain records and report levels of usage toassistin reordering process andensuringthat delivered items are stored properly.
Assistwithreceiverwork for the liquor storagerestockback-up liquor cages and ensure bartenders have all materials needed for service.
Ensure all tables are clear andcleanedopen andclosingshifts.
Support Prep with batching and labeling items.
Clean and refill thedraftslines for the bar.
Follow Department of Health (DOH) cleanliness and food handling protocols including proper glove use.
REQUIREMENTS:
One to two (1-2) years of bar experience or equivalent.
Minimum age to serve alcohol.
Knowledge of menu items including beers wines cocktails and liquors.
Ability to work outdoors in warm weather conditions.
Team-oriented with a proactive attitude toward supporting service operations.
Attention to cleanliness organization and guest safety.
Strong problem solving communication and interpersonal skills ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally.
Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the positionincludingwalking standing or lifting heavy items for extended periods and working nights weekends and holidays.
