Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Monitor visitor patient and vendor access at the reception area verify identification and/or credentials and help to maintain an orderly entry process.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with staff visitors and/or first responders as needed.
• Answer questions provide directions document daily activity and unusual events and report concerns related to access control property and/or facility operations.
• Support a professional lobby presence by observing the entrance area helping to deter unauthorized access and following post orders and client-directed protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
