Job Summary
The Role
We need an opening shift barista who can run the morning. That means being at the shop by 6 AM getting the bar set up making great drinks and keeping things running until noon. This is a consistent schedule same days same hours every week.
What Youll Do
Open the shop and set up the bar
Pull espresso shots steam milk prepare hot and cold drinks to standard
Serve customers at the counter and handle POS transactions
Keep the bar equipment and prep area clean and stocked
Prep cold brew restock pastries and manage basic inventory during your shift
Occasionally work Smorgasburg events on Fridays or Sundays
What Were Looking For
At least 6 months of espresso bar experience (non-negotiable well train you on our menu but you need to know your way around a machine)
Reliable and punctual this is a small team and every shift matters. If we cant count on you to show up at 6 AM this isnt the right fit.
Wednesday through Sunday availability required
Comfortable working independently during the morning shift
Friendly without being performative genuine warmth.
