Job Description:

Examples of Work

• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy completeness and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Process invoices for payment including coding and data entry
• Review and process employee reimbursements (ERDs) and travel-related documents for payment.
• Prepare and enter journal entries to record accounting adjustments
• Process deposits including coding and data entry
• Provide customer service to agency staff by responding to routine inquiries related to accounting processes and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall function of the finance team.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework or vocational education in accounting finance business administration or related field OR experience performing accounting functions including interpreting and analyzing financial data.

Other: Regular and reliable onsite attendance is required. **NRGC employees are prohibited from gambling or placing a wager in any establishment licensed by the Commission.**

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical skills and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
