Job Summary

Baltic Power is a joint venture between two regional leaders of energy transition Northland Power and ORLEN pioneering Polands offshore wind industry and driving the countrys energy transformation.
We are constructing the very first offshore wind farm in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. With a planned capacity of 1.1 GW the project will play a key role in strengthening the countrys energy mix and supporting the transition to lower-carbon power generation.
By joining Baltic Power you will contribute to the development and long-term operation of a large-scale renewable energy asset. Join the team powering Polands first offshore wind farm

We are looking for aWTG Engineerwho will be part of the O&M Technical department responsible for the technical success of the Baltic Power project covering four primary workstreams: WTG BoP Electrical and OT/SCADA. You will be responsible for providing technical oversight integrity management oversee the direct execution of maintenance and inspections conducted by our SMA Partner. Your role is to ensure that work performed by our partnerincluding procedures RAMS and physical maintenance strictly adheres to our safety standards contractual requirements and operational goals.

What Youll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the WTG SMA
  • Perform technical reviews of all proposed RAMS for the WTG scope
  • Provide technical input for HSE/Quality inspections and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes when technical issues arise
  • Provide technical oversight for Main Component Exchanges and general turbine health
  • Ensure all WTG-related work performed by contractors is within the technical frame of the contracts and authority requirements
  • Monitor and report on turbine availability technical condition and overall performance
  • Provide technical WTG input for the Asset Integrity and Performance Management systems
  • Contribute technical data to risk assessments and OPEX budgeting for the WTG scope
  • Provide technical WTG expertise to the wider O&M team for planning training and reporting
  • Coordinate technical matters between internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in all WTG-related technical meetings requiring O&M input
  • Support the O&M team with requested technical input for various ad-hoc tasks
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or similar)
  • 3 years of engineering experience specifically related to WTGs
  • Strong technical knowledge of wind turbines and SMA contract structures
  • Fluent in Polish and English both spoken and written
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid command of MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Outlook
Nice to have
  • Prior experience in offshore wind operations is a significant advantage.
