About the company.
We are delighted to be supporting a very successful Not for Profit who deliver critical services to many Australians in are based within the inner suburbs of Brisbane and are committed to achieving best in class across delivery of specialised services.
About the position.
Having grown substantially they are looking for a skilled financial leader/financial accountant who can join them for a 6-month contract to assist in developing the ways of working and ensuring that the systems are fully utilised to their capability.
Being able to support front line with automated and accurate reporting tools will ensure better decisions in the years ahead.
- Ensure revenue is accurately recognised.
- Provide the business with reporting that installs confidence and trust and highlights an accurate reflection of the organisation.
- Assist in driving compliance and reporting in line with industry standards.
- Ensure invoicing is generated and processed in a timely manner and look for process improvement opportunities.
- Have an advanced level of Excel and develop automated reporting to support the operational decisions.
- Ensure Month End activities are completed to deadlines and in accurate manner.
About the ideal candidate.
This is a great opportunity if you have a naturally inquisitive mindset and are always looking for continuous improvements in systems and processes.
- CA/CPA qualification or near to completion.
- Relevant tertiary degree in Finance or Business.
- Strong communications skills and an ability to build business relationships.
- Strong Excel skills and experienced in ERP system maintenance.
- As a team player have a passion for self and team development.
