ELIQUIS is the leading direct oral anticoagulant in the US. The US ELIQUIS Access and Affordability Secondee role sits on the US ELIQUIS Commercial Brand Team. The secondee will serve a critical role on the ELIQUIS Alliance team with responsibilities to help progress the brands strategies and tactics in the Access and Affordability space as well as additional brand projects as needed. Advancement in this space is essential to the brand teams success. This is an exciting opportunity to work both cross-functionally and in an Alliance to drive ELIQUIS performance.
The secondee will be responsible for several initiatives essential to market expansion brand growth and access across the Payer channel and aligned with the ELIQUIS marketing team. The Access and Affordability strategic priorities to be supported by the secondee include evolving and driving the payer value story ensuring success of ELIQUIS formulary status and executing on tactics around patient affordability and access for the field teams including sales (CV/HSSS/KAD and account director teams.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
Develop and execute key access resources with high collaboration among Alliance payer marketing and USMA marketing partners.
Lead special projects to support Access and Affordability strategic imperatives (Pharmacy Direct To Patient EVP and/or Benefit Design Training).
Support KPl/measurement tracking to assess marketing efforts to identify areas of improvement and acceleration (e.g. EVP analytics patient support programs BAT KPIs Payer dashboard etc.).
Develop new assets and manage expiry and extension of payer resources.
Provide digital support of access materials such as rep triggered emails and NPP tactics.
Support and help build brand team presentations and workshops liaising with the Alliance.
Structure interpret and action feedback from ELIQUIS field team and US Market Access organizations through Advisory calls POA sessions and other initiatives.
Ensure the payer digital resource optimization and field troubleshooting.
Evolve the payer asset tracking system to ensure timely material development in alignment to brand planning and execution.
Contribute to the payer long term strategy including health policy and formulary access initiatives.
Support resources development for IM Academy and brand ad hoc projects as needed.
Develop and deploy the monthly ELQ Access Exchange newsletter.
Provide payer content for the monthly marketing spotlight communication and for CFC Ad boards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 8 years of experience.
Pharmaceutical industry experience.
Ability to travel to NYHQ (for remote colleagues; colleagues local to NYHQ to adhere to most up-to date return to office guidance).
Strong understanding of US Payer hospital and health system landscapes and ability to quickly grasp customer dynamics within each landscape.
Ability to lead work and influence cross-functional and Alliance teams.
Demonstrated initiative strong problem solving decision making and leadership skills.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate strategy and analysis to a tactical executable level.
Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Strong project management skills.

Nice-to-Have
Masters degree with at least 7 years of experience; OR a PhD with 5 years of experience.
Experience working with US Payers.
Other marketing experience a plus.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
If remote secondee must be willing to travel to NYHQ on semi-regular basis (every 6-8 weeks as needed)
Travel to research initiatives POAs and other key meetings as needed

Note: This secondment offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth. It will need to be funded by the secondees home market.
