Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including medical histories and physical exams.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans which may require prescribing medications and therapies.
- Provide patient education on health promotion disease prevention and management of conditions.
- Perform minor procedures as needed.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant(PA) within the state of Ohio and have National Commission on Certificate of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or a licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) within the state of Ohio and have a nursing degree (APRN degree) with completion of an accredited Masters program.
- Board eligible/certified
- DEA license
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology release of information and medical record maintenance activities and billing activities preferred.
