Job Summary
The EL Tutor is responsible for the identification instruction and assessment of qualified students from preschool through 12th grade. These services may be provided in a public school charter school or private/parochial school. The EL Tutor should be able to create an environment that is conducive to learning encourages students to interact with each other to improve their English-speaking Ohio certificate/license with TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) endorsementExcellent communication skills both orally and in writingExperience and knowledge of current trends in working with EL studentsAbility to work well with students staff and diverse populationsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationAbility to effectively communicate with students and parents Successfully pass BCI/FBI background checks
