Your Role:
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for helping our persons served improve their communication abilities and enhance their quality of life through personalized speech therapy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical screenings and assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders and inform treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including goals interventions and expected outcomes based on prescribed care
- Monitor assess and document patient progress; adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate timely and compliant documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Educate persons served families and staff on conditions treatment approaches and strategies for self-management and prevention
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide relevant clinical updates and reporting
- Perform assigned administrative duties including oversight of patient care activities medical records and supply management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable licensure accreditation and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care while supporting operational excellence
- Demonstrate professionalism compassion and respect in all interactions with patients families and team members
- Meet productivity expectations including a minimum of 28 billable client-facing hours per week
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in any state; willingness to obtain Michigan licensure upon hire
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or catastrophic injuries including traumatic brain injury
- Strong communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit stand and perform computer-based tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility and personal care needs
- Ability to travel between multiple locations as needed
