TITLE: Playgroup Facilitator
Coordinated Family & Community Engagement
SALARY: $ 19.00 per hour or $20.00 per hour with a bachelors degree
HOURS: 15 hours per week
Some weekend and evening hours required
Year round position (grant funded)
REPORTS TO: CFCE Early Childhood Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Early Childhood Degree
- Knowledge of the community and its resources a plus
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provide/facilitate family-centered programs that build on and enhance family
Strengths (parent/child playgroups parent workshops drop in activities and other events).
- Develop curriculum
- Assist in reporting program data
- Participate in community events to maintain program visibility.
- Gather and share information about resources in the community useful to families with children 0-13yrs old.
- Attend council meetings
- Help with the early identification of children/families in need.
- Provide families in need with relevant referrals and follow-up to ensure they are receiving the services they need.
- Use Ages & Stages Questionnaire
Perform other duties deemed necessary to support program
