Job Summary
We are seeking a Portuguesespeaking Contract Lawyer with around three years of legal experience. The ideal candidate must have handson experience in Investigations Compliance Financial Services and/or Insurance. This role involves reviewing legal documentation supporting regulatory processes and assisting with riskrelated matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contracts and legal documents in Portuguese and English.
- Support investigations by reviewing evidence identifying risk issues and summarizing findings.
- Assist Compliance teams with regulatory research policy reviews and risk assessments.
- Provide legal support on matters related to Financial Services and Insurance ensuring alignment with applicable regulations.
- Work crossfunctionally with legal compliance risk and business teams to support ongoing matters.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and dataprotection standards.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Law degree (LLB/JD) with Portuguese language skills (Brazilian).
- Approximately 3 years of legal experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Investigations / Compliance / Financial Services / Insurance.
- Strong written and verbal proficiency in Portuguese and English.
- Ability to provide clear legal analysis and identify risk areas.
