Our Emerging Talent Programs including Internships and Trainee roles provide hands-on opportunities for students and early-career professionals to contribute to the teams behind our film television and entertainment experiences.

These paid seasonal assignments deliver meaningful high-impact work designed to accelerate your growth. Youll take on real responsibilities build practical skills and gain exposure to the business through structured learning executive engagement and networking opportunities.

Our internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as well as individuals seeking to deepen their education through immersive professional experience in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing & publicity team by executing tasks related to each of the several upcoming Sony Pictures Classics films

  • Conduct film marketing and demographic research

  • Organize physical and digital assets analytics and promotional items related to each films campaign.

  • Analyze digital marketing trends and assist in the creation of media assets and copy writing for digital campaigning

  • Assist with other marketing or administrative tasks as needed by the marketing & publicity team

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a bachelors degree program

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain organizational skills while handling multiple projects at one time

  • Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for film and film marketing with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.
