Job Summary

Position: Math Specialist Teacher K-12Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree- While a degree in mathematics or math education is preferred a degree in another field is acceptable if accompanied by required math content Certification/LicensurePrevious Tutoring or Classroom ExperienceBCI/FBI ClearanceEssential Functions:Provide targeted small-group and individualized math instruction to support students performing below grade level across screening and progress-monitoring data to develop implement and adjust math intervention and monitoring plans. Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and reinforce core math Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions with an MTSS framework to accelerate student achievement. Monitor and document student growth communicating progress with teachers families and support teams.
