About the Role

The CARE Senior Lead provides operational leadership for teams supporting sensitive humanservicesfocused work in a compliancedriven environment. This role oversees staff conducting caserelated activities ensures adherence to policies and procedures and serves as an escalation point for complex or highrisk situations. The position emphasizes quality timeliness and professional judgment while maintaining strict confidentiality.

What Youll Do

  • Supervise and support staff performing casebased and clientfacing work
  • Assign daily workloads and monitor progress to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Serve as escalation point for complex sensitive or highrisk cases
  • Review documentation and work products for compliance with established standards
  • Ensure consistent application of policies procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct spot checks quality reviews and operational inspections
  • Provide coaching mentoring and corrective feedback as needed
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Manage schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and operational continuity
  • Communicate guidance updates and expectations clearly to staff
  • Prepare reports and operational updates for management
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution; or
  • Associate degree with additional relevant experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience
  • Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in child welfare human services case management social services or similar environments
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience in a structured operational setting
  • Experience working in highvolume deadlinedriven environments with detailed documentation requirements
  • Strong leadership judgment and decisionmaking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems quickly
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required or preferred depending on assignment

Work Schedule

  • Flexible schedule required including evenings and weekends
  • Must be accessible by mobile phone as needed for operational matters

Security Clearance/Background Check Requirements

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Child Abuse/Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.
  • Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.
  • Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance

Physical Demands

  • Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees and ability to regularly travel via air car train etc.
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling:15% - 49% of the time.
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing:10% - 25% of the time.
  • Fingering/Grasping/Feeling:Must be able to write type and use a telephone system 75% - 100% of the time.
  • Physical Dimensions:May move 20-30 lbs.
  • Consider the position at hand (i.e. lifting pushing and pulling wont be very necessary). Percentages should be modified to reflect the necessity for each position.
