Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in improving mobility reducing pain and restoring functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Educate patients on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
- Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
