Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety accuracy and high-quality imaging across various shifts.
Work Schedule
Bi-weekly rotating schedule:
Week 1 (40 hours):
- Sunday: 7:00 AM 11:00 PM (15 hrs)
- Wednesday Friday: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM (8.5 hrs each)
Week 2 (32 hours):
- Monday & Tuesday: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM (8.5 hrs each)
- Saturday: 7:00 AM 11:00 PM (15 hrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to radiation protection standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support diagnostic and treatment needs
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment effectively
- Document procedures accurately using electronic medical records (Epic)
Requirements
- Active New York State (NYS) X-Ray Technologist license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience
- ARRT certification preferred
- Experience with Epic charting system required
