GE HealthCare Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. GE HealthCare in Eindhoven produces and distributes radiopharmaceutical products for hospitals worldwide. As part of the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business of GE HealthCare we support the PDx vision of being the best-in-class supply chain delivering the right dose to the right patient at the right time.

Essential Responsibilities

• Heading a logistics team of 4 coordinators 3 specialists and 7 students (hiring evaluating coaching instructing);
• Support the team in daily business - logistics of nuclear goods (escalations prioritization);
• Steering and supervising projects performed by the Specialist and prioritized in coordination with the Project management team.
• Manage the relationship with carriers freight forwarders; representing the business during monthly/quarterly (MBR/QBR) and annual business (YBR) reviews.
• Follow- up on quality incidents - deviations investigations change controls CAPAs;
• Supervise the compliance of the team (trainings work instructions overlooking the processes);
• Understanding and controlling logistics costs (airfreight rates road linehauls taxes).

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Logistics Supply Chain or related;
• Relevant working experience in logistics freight forwarding (control tower is a big plus);
• People management experience experience leading a team;
• Fluent English knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Team player;
• Willing to run on call shifts (after office hours);
• The role requires a declaration of behaviour (VGB) the application will be handled by GE HealthCare.

Desired Requirements

• Experience dealing with exceptional goods such as batteries oils alcohol and preferred DG experience/education.
