Job Summary
The Recruiter provides administrative and recruitment support by coordinating end-to-end hiring activities including sourcing screening interviewing and selection support for open positions across Trinity Health. This role partners closely with hiring leaders and HR colleagues to identify talent needs recommend qualified candidates and support timely well-organized hiring processes. Working within a collaborative Human Resources team the Recruiter contributes to a positive professional experience for both candidates and hiring leaders through clear communication and responsive coordination. The position operates in a supportive team-oriented environment where organization attention to detail and collaboration are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle recruitment activities including posting positions sourcing candidates screening applications and coordinating interviews.
- Partner with hiring leaders and HR team members to understand workforce needs develop recruitment strategies and support selection decisions.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process ensuring timely updates and a positive candidate experience.
- Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) and related tools to maintain accurate candidate and requisition data and to generate reports as needed.
- Support recruitment events career fairs and other outreach activities to build candidate pipelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to recruitment processes metrics and candidate experience.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Requires valid drivers license (travel required).
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors in Management Marketing or other healthcare associated degree preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years recruitment/HR experience strongly preferred.
- Preference may be given to applicant with experience in placement or staffing agency.
- Healthcare experience helpful but not required.
Special Skills or Training Requirements:
- Requires high level of accuracy follow through and organizational skills.
- Interviewing experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Requires excellent computer skills and experience with Word Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a team environment and establish a good rapport with coworkers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
Physical Requirements:
The Recruiter requires the ability to perform administrative and data focused duties including sitting for 6-8 hours per shift with intermittent standing and walking; frequent keyboarding data entry and report preparation; and fine motor skills necessary for handling documents and using office technology. Team members may occasionally need to lift or move up to 20 pounds of materials or office supplies. Adequate vision hearing and communication abilities are essential for safely and effectively performing job responsibilities.
Environmental Requirements:
Work is performed in an office and HR administrative environment with potential exposure to noise from office equipment shared workspaces and variable workflow demands. Responsibilities may require working in meeting rooms open office areas or remote/virtual meeting environments and using computers and related technology for extended periods. Occasional travel for meetings interviews training or HRrelated activities may be required. Strict confidentiality of employee candidate and organizational information must be maintained at all times.
