Commercial Real Estate Financing

We are looking for a Commercial Real Estate Financing Attorney with 4 years of experience to join our growing transactional practice. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and autonomous lawyer who can run borrower-side deals from start to finish for our sophisticated clients. This is a key hire to support our expanding client needs and offers a ground-floor opportunity to help shape and build our borrower-side group.

What will you be doing

• Represent private investors developers and REITs in connection with acquisitions dispositions and purchase and sales of commercial real estate assets.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements joint venture agreements and related transactional documentation.
• Run deals autonomously serving as the primary point of contact for clients and managing all aspects of the transaction from inception to closing.
• Provide creative legal solutions for private clients with specific often non-standard deal terms.
• Manage multiple deals simultaneously at various stages in a highly collaborative environment.
  

Seniority

4 - 15 years of experience in borrower-side commercial real estate transactional law running deals from start to finish.

Work experience

Can run CRE deals autonomously from start to finish.

Experience with acquisitions dispositions and purchase/sales.

Experience at a boutique or mid-size CRE-focused firm.

Education

Admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to waive in.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Hard skills

Must provide a deal sheet of relevant transactions.

Drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements.

Experience with industrial or data center transactions.

Soft skills

Entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative all hands in attitude.

Miscellaneous

Role is hybrid in NYC or potentially remote for exceptional senior attorneys.

Experience with New York-based clients and deals is preferred.
