Description
Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to supporta wide range of HR functions including recruitment employee relations benefits administration and compliance. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leadership ensuring HR practices align with organizational goals and foster a positive productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing interviewing hiring and onboarding
- Partner with leaders to understand staffing needs and workforce planning requirements
- Administer HR processes within the applicant tracking system
- Conduct new hire orientation and support employee onboarding
- Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies benefits and employment matters
- Support employee relations including performance management disciplinary actions and grievance processes
- Maintain compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist with succession planning and training needs based on performance reviews
- Support benefits administration FMLA disability and attendance-related matters
- Serve as a liaison for workers compensation claims and related processes
- Build relationships with community organizations and support recruiting and workforce initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR activities
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
- 35 years of HR experience
- Manufacturing industry experience beneficial but not required
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with recruiting and staffing processes
- Strong communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees and leadership
