Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support healthcare staff in delivering high-quality patient care. This role focuses on ensuring patient comfort safety and well-being while maintaining a clean and organized care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature pulse respiration and blood pressure
- Support patient mobility including transferring and repositioning
- Maintain patient hygiene and ensure a safe clean environment
- Assist nursing staff with basic clinical and non-clinical tasks
- Respond promptly to patient requests and call signals
- Accurately document patient care activities
- Adhere to infection control guidelines and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
- Basic understanding of patient care practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
