About the Role
The Finance Team provides comprehensive financial support and guidance across the entire business. We service both client-facing teams and other shared services teams ensuring that all financial aspects are managed efficiently and effectively with the appropriate level of controls. Our team is committed to driving financial performance enhancing reporting capabilities and building strong relationships across the organisation. We leverage our expertise in management accounting financial analysis and business partnering to support informed decision-making and process improvements. Our goal is to deliver timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders enabling them to achieve their strategic objectives and inform decisions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse management accounts providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance across cross centres.
Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand business requirements and provide financial support and guidance.
Evaluate and challenge investment proposals and business cases applying commercial rigour and ROI analysis.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the organisation ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Lead financial strategy budgeting and forecasting for Shared Services partnering with functional leaders to set targets and drive accountability. Support the budgeting process with the team for client facing areas
Development of financial forecasts and projections to support strategic planning and continued growth.
Collect analyse and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for various projects and initiatives.
Build strong relationships through effective partnering and proactive nature.
Skills/Attributes Required:
Analytical and problem-solving skills. Curious mindset to understand the data and drivers
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Proven ability to influence challenge and support senior stakeholders with datadriven insights.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Eagerness to stay adaptable and embrace new methodologies and technologies as we expand our reporting and analytics capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis. Experience in Shared Services preferred.
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field.
CA or CPA equivalent qualification.
Workday Adaptive Planning system experience is an advantage.
Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel).
