We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Lead to join our team and play a key role in advancing our planning capabilities through Project TEMPO/Kinaxis.

This is a 12-month fixed term position.

The Role

As an SAP Technical Lead you will drive SAP technical delivery and data enablement activities to support planning system readiness and rollout. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data robust integrations and successful execution across testing and deployment phases.

This is a hands-on technical role with leadership responsibility across SAP build data validation and supply chain planning integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver SAP technical solutions (ABAP/custom build) across DEV QA and PRD environments

  • Support Project TEMPO/Kinaxis readiness through data extracts validation and fixes

  • Develop and execute data quality checks and exception reporting

  • Produce reliable data extracts for master and transactional data (e.g. BOMs routings materials)

  • Support integration and UAT cycles including defect resolution and retesting

  • Create clear technical documentation SOPs and runbooks in line with GxP standards

  • Collaborate with supply chain manufacturing and IT teams to resolve planning/data issues

  • Ensure compliance with change control audit and traceability requirements

Core Competencies

  • Strong SAP technical expertise (ABAP transports testing controlled delivery)

  • Deep understanding of manufacturing execution and production master data

  • Experience in data extraction reporting and validation frameworks

  • Structured testing mindset (UAT cycles defect tracking documentation)

  • Ability to identify and resolve data/design issues impacting planning

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience Required

  • Proven SAP technical/developer experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment

  • Experience supporting planning MRP scheduling or production data processes

  • Hands-on experience with master data: materials BOMs routings work centres calendars

  • Experience supporting integration/UAT cycles and go-live/hypercare

  • Familiarity with GxP or regulated documentation standards

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kinaxis Maestro PlanetTogether or similar APS tools

  • Knowledge of SAP modules: PP MM QM

  • Exposure to advanced planning and scheduling integrations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors / Advanced degree (and experience) in Supply Chain Engineering Business or related field

  • APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or similar certification preferred

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification a plus

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Advanced data skills (Excel SQL Power BI or similar)

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in a matrix environment

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
