GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Marketing Officer II provides marketing support to retail and non-retail areas through various tasks including creating and shipping branch materials implementing bank messaging for product campaigns and coordinating customer communications when applicable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Communicate with retail staff regarding marketing campaigns signage and marketing materials.
2. Provide marketing support to retail staff.
3. Brainstorm on retail marketing campaigns.
4. Works on various bank projects with non-retail departments throughout the bank.
5. Communicate with non-retail staff regarding marketing campaigns signage and marketing materials.
6. Provide marketing support to non-retail departments.
7. Brainstorm on non-retail marketing campaigns.
8. Coordinate the creation and shipping of marketing materials.
9. Coordinate customer communications and mailings.
10. Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns based on the needs of the region on multimedia channels.
11. Communicate with regional management in order to monitor regional expenses.
12. Collaborate with regional management to prepare budget.
13. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
14. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
15. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting marketing business administration finance etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree plus 7 years related experience and/or training and 7 to 11 months related management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format; Ability to effectively present information to top management public groups and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions ratios and proportions to practical situations.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
